The project which was coordinated by the Team Lead in Ekiti, Mrs. Funmi Falae alongside Mrs. Adejumoke in commemoration of the 2025 International Women’s Day, had selected women in the community in attendance for the training.
The 30 participants on board were extensively trained with different skills including Snacks making, Production of Body Cream, Toilet Cleanser and Liquid Soap.
Raw materials were also provided free of charge to the participants after being grouped, for personal practice; showcasing all they have been taught.
No doubt, women empowerment at the grassroots cannot be over emphasised. At Media For Human Development Foundation AKA MAI initiative for Human Dev., we are committed to this and we won’t back down in this assignment.
